Did you know…
The GFI Qld State Team:
Is an enthusiastic group of parents who have used and still use the principles of Growing Families material in their families;
Meets on regular basis around the Brisbane and Gold Coast area;
Aims to promote Biblical parenting models, through the use of Growing Families material, to raise a generation to the Glory of God;
Supports parents and facilitators through Facilitator training, an annual Family Camp, GEMS Groups and Contact Mum’s; and a regular email newsletter to all who desire to receive it.
Have a Youth Team whose role is to be an encouragement to teens and young adults of Christian families and GFI material users.
Our desire is:
To support you and encourage you in the honoured role of parenting your children;
To encourage your teens to the higher standard;
See you equipped through seminars and training days and an annual camp;
To work with you as we change our wonderful State and Nation – one family at a time!
Around Qld
We have a huge state with population centres everywhere.
From a practical point of view we cannot physically make contact with all of you, however we do have people who have a heart and desire to make contact at different times of the year, so if you are a user of GFI material (even in remote areas) we want to hear from you. If you would however like a visit from some GFI people please email us and we will do our very best to send someone or come and see you! So send us an email at qld_reps@gfi.org.au and we can see what we can do.
